APPRENTICE EXCHANGE
Last November, 2 of our apprentices travelled to our German sister company Walischmiller to take part in the Carrs Group annual apprentice exchange program. The program, organised by Carrs Group, aims to educate apprentices from Bendalls, Chirton Engineering and Walischmiller in how each company contributes to the engineering capability group.
The program also gives the apprentices an opportunity to learn about what its like to work in a country other than their own. Under the supervision of apprentice coordinator Michael Szcesny, the apprentices from Bendalls and Chirton learned about the manufacturing processes utilised by Walischmiller, the products they manufacture and their uses.
