This morning our MD Sean Saunders met with Tom Tugendhat, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee and rising star within the Conservative Party and local MP John Stevenson alongside other local Cumbrian company leaders over a business breakfast in Carlisle.
General discussions included local economic growth, challenges concerning people development and skills, and retaining talent in the County.
We were delighted to have Mr Tugendhat and Mr Stevenson visit Bendalls Engineering facility following breakfast, where we talked about the growth of the Nuclear Sector in the County and beyond as well as exciting manufacturing alliances that are starting to form. The visit included a factory tour, giving them an insight into our manufacturing capabilities and our future vision.
